World Wellbeing Week: What we're doing for our team

Working in a fast-paced FinTech means that we have to make time to focus on our team’s wellbeing. From our developers to our sales and marketing team to our senior management, we have a lot of people spending huge amounts of time working hard at their desks. This is why we need to put focus on our mental and physical wellbeing to make sure that all of our team get that time away from their desks to clear their minds.

Soar is on a mission to make sure that our entire team feels supported and that they have the support network there to ask for help when the pressure builds. This can be pressures from a hectic work schedule or from their personal lives. It’s important to us that we create an environment where team members can open up if they feel that they want to.

Soar has been hosting wellbeing days and activities for our team for a while but over the next few months we will be doing loads more to encourage good wellbeing practices and we will be supporting these 5 ways to wellbeing:

  • Give
  • Be Active
  • Keep Learning
  • Connect
  • Take Notice

We’ll be embracing these by listening to some inspirational speakers, hearing about and giving to some important charities, getting active while trying something new and most importantly, taking the time to focus on our mental health.

Wellbeing is different for everyone so we’ll be trying a variety of different things to help our team find what works for them! You’ll be able to keep up with us and see what we get up to on our social media pages.
